Project description
This research examines the factors affecting young people's access to decent employment in Togo. It will explore education and skills, availability of jobs, work experience, wages, informal employment, location, employer requirements, entrepreneurship opportunities, and the relationship between training and labour-market demand. The research will use available data and evidence from young people, employers, and other relevant stakeholders to identify key barriers and potential areas for practical intervention.
Geographic focus
Togo — selected urban, peri-urban, and rural communities.

A research report identifying the major barriers to decent employment among young people in Togo, supported by evidence and practical recommendations for decision-makers.
